In 2008, Nick was invited to be part of a research team which visited the little known, abandoned Scottish Cemetery in the great Indian city of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), in which around 3000 Scots are buried.Further work stalled, due to the financial crash, but Nick has kept in touch and has visited 3 more times in the past few years to monitor restoration and research progress, as well as to experience more of the fascinating magic of India!
